ParaCloud is a software boutique. We develop software solutions that power up existing CAD environments with simple to use Generative Design Tools. ParaCloud products enable Performative Design workflows, sharing the design data with various analysis tools. ParaCloud software offer tools for developing 3D printable output, including unfolded components layout, automatic Ribs structures with joineries and unfolding tools.

Paracloud | GEM
ParaCloud GEM is a 3D Pattern Modeler that overlays your design with 3D Objects sampled from CAD software. With GEM, the faces of a polygon surface become adaptive containers for 3D Components, of any size or shape. GEM automatically transforms each component to match the proportions of its container, creating a 3D pattern. Tear away the constraints of your 3D software and modeling skills. GEM builds up the complexity of your design models, creating patterns of components fitted within the network of polygon surfaces. Paracloud | Modeler
ParaCloud Modeler is a software that converts Microsoft Excelâ„¢ spreadsheet into a powerful generative and associative modeling and analysis application.ParaCloud extends common CAD software capabilities with minimal changes to working habits and defines a new way of communication replacing the import/export approach. ParaCloud Modeler drives Rhino 3.0, Rhino 4.0, Autodesk Maya, DXF, OBJ, STL and VRML output.
ParaCloud Modeler is currently developed on top of Microsoft Excelâ„¢ integrating a Parallel Graphics 3D interactive engine and providing integration to popular CAD tools in various levels. ParaCloud has advanced integration with McNeel’s Rhino. Integration to leading CAD solution like AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, SketchUP is available via DXF, OBJ and STL files. ParaCloud Modeler offer a Scripting-without-Scripting approach making generative and performative design accessible to all designers. Motivation A typical design, engineering and research project involve multiple software solutions and multiple participants; therefore the need to exchange information fluently plays a key role in a project’s success. The growing complexity of design, engineering and research projects reflects in the sophisticated solutions offered by a variety of software vendors. However, the application of advanced tools can cause a setback and interfere with the work process. For example, we can see how the use of 3D models allows for creativity but on the other hand makes it complicated to handle. The exchange of proprietary documents between software tools results in duplicating or loosing information in the process. Therefore, the need for schematic representations which allow handling the real-world problems with simplified interfaces and the ability to drive multiple representations from a single logical model grows. The alternative of keeping up to date with the rapid developments of software solutions and industry standards increases the operation costs and therefore will not prevail.
