The ParaCloud filter algorithms allow processing a point-cloud, reorder and reduce data according to 3 methods.
Select the algorithm from the Filter By list and press the Filter button.

Filter by Axis
The Filter by Axis algorithms finds the closest points within every point-string to a given et of target values. Choose the Filter Axis (X, Y or Z). Enter the search values for X, Y or Z in the E, F or G columns of the Cloud Data spreadsheet accordingly. The number of values placed determines the filtered cloud point-string length. The results will be plotted in the E, F, G columns of the Cloud Data Panel.
Filter by XY Grid
This filter algorithm finds the closest points on the XY values only. This algorithm attaches the Z value from the closest point (XY plane only) to the sampling grid points.
Filter by XYZ Grid
This filter algorithm finds the closest points of a given point-cloud to an evaluation cloud. The resulted filtered cloud inherits the order from the evaluation cloud while the X, Y, Z data is from the original cloud.
Filtering by Minimum Distance (Perpendiculars)
This filter algorithm calculates minimum distance points by evaluating a set of target points specified on the K,L,M columns of the Cloud Data and plot the results on the E,F,G columns.
