In order for our team to analyze structural concepts generated in ParaCloud we need to either have the paracell components populate the Rhino model with wireframe line entities, or as “Cylinder” selected in the “Entity Type” so as to generate solids. Most of the structural analysis software we’re using works well with IGES or DXF formats. Can you recommend a method using paracloud to generate wireframe segments that would represent a 3-dimensional structural configuration, not to disimilar to the tutorial above.
You can generate the “stick model” by leaving all entity types deselected. This will generate the axis of the cylinders as lines.
Let me know if this answer your requirement. We are exploring integration to tools like Robobat that analyze stick-models. The idea is to drive the structural model using the structural analysis results to determine the truss-member.
