The United Nations Intervention Project was designed by Tatsuya Sakairi at Pratt Institute Master of Architecture 2nd semester studio, advised by Jason Vigneri-Beane. The design employs 3ds Max Mesh components with Paracloud Modeler.

United Nations Intervention is an extension program, which adds art gallery, auditorium, new entrance hall, and non-governmental organization offices.
3ds Max was used to find a shape that creates smooth transition between landscape and building.

For further detailing, 3d model of mesh fields and mesh components were brought in from 3ds Max to Paracloud via obj format. Populating perforated component was done by Paracloud. The perforated component becomes deformed in order to accommodate functions.

You can export a polygonal quads mesh from 3DS as an obj file and get it into ParaCloud Modeler.
You should also check out GEM - it handles meshes easily. If you want online help, send us a phone number to schedule it with you and the time you are available.
