This workshop is offered by the Design Faculty of Shenkar College Ramat-Gan (Israel) (www.shenkar.ac.il) in cooperation with the Departments Design, Informatics, Electrical Engineering of HAW Hamburg (Germany) (www.haw-hamburg.de), directed by teachers from Shenkar College,
addressing students from Shenkar/HAW and external students/professionals.

This hands-on digital workshop focusses on the learning and implementation of three software programs: ParaCloud™ (an innovative parametric software solution, based on smart cloud of points), Rhino 4.0® (CAD environment for 3D modeling), and EyesWeb© to sample sound in real time from built environment and to convert it into numeric data. Participants will work on methods to extend common CAD software capabilities with minimal changes to working habits, to define a new way of communication replacing the import/export approach, and to integrate the above mentioned tools into the design process. New research and development concepts will be introduced.
