Load a predefined primitive plane from the mesh menu and swap it's data using the Y <--> Z option from the Mesh Settings console.

Use the Subdivide Mesh option to split Mesh Face. In the following example, face orientation was maintained.



First Subdivision: Split Both Second Subdivision : From Center Third Subdivision: Split Both
Press the
button from the Targets Toolbar and Select Target points.


Select the offset by targets method from the Mesh Offset console. Set Min / Max values and press the Offset button.
In the following example values set to: Min = o | Max = 0.3 | Invert option was toggled.


Select a color cell from the components pallet and load a component. In this example, the X-brace component from the components library was loaded into the red Cell and the X-Mesh component was loaded into the Orange Cell.

Press the
button from the Face Selection Toolbar. Use the Ctrl+A keys to select all faces. Create a population pattern using the Face Map selection.


Press the
button from the Output Toolbar to preview the population pattern.
